  • Limits available up to $1,000,000 per claim / $2,000,000 aggregate
  • Deductibles $2,500 to $50,000 or more
  • Optional: Claim expenses in addition to the limit of liability 
  • The Insurance Company: Title Industry Assurance Company (TIAC), a Risk Retention Group. Under the 1986 amendments to the liability Risk Retention Act of 1981, a Risk Retention Group is a special purpose insurance company owned solely by its policyholders, which may write only liability insurance including
    E & O insurance under the act
  • TIAC is endorsed by most of the major title underwriters including: First American, Stewart Title, Fidelity National, Alamo Title, Chicago Title Security Union, Od Republic,Land America, Ticor Title and Security Title Guarantee
  • Must become a member of the American Land Title Association to be eligible for the insurance coverage
